Paraflage* Paintings
Paraflage* is the artwork of artist Servaes Frederik de Wolf Koers. Haarlem NL 26-09-1981.
The word Paraflage comes from Paradise and Camouflage — a hidden paradise, something beautiful that reveals itself only when you are willing to look differently. Paraflage is not simply painting. It is a construction of shapes, colours, layers, depth and movement, carefully composed to create a visual world that is open to interpretation. Within each work, forms can transform into landscapes, creatures, faces, symbols or something that has no name at all.
You don’t simply look at a Paraflage.........You discover what your own mind sees.
Every viewer can experience something different. One person may see a creature; another may discover a landscape, a memory, a face, a dream or an emotion. There is no correct image hidden inside the work. What you see becomes part of the artwork. That is the essence of Paraflage, the painting is created by the artist, but its meaning is created together with the person who looks at it. A doorway between worlds.

Paraflage* ''h,ART2B mon Ami.''
This artwork was created after a long and intense summer dedicated to the creation of ART2B festival at camping Belle-vue Berdorf. the painting became a kind of visual collage of emotions, connections, expectations, and experiances.
On the leftside, chaos takes over, a reflection of the moments when life becomes overwelming and everthing seems to exist at once, yet within that chaos, there is a desire for balance: a movement toward bringing the calmer, more harmonious side of live to the foreground.
sometimes life is simply difficult. but it is often in those moments that genuine friendships are formed and connections become stronger.
this painting reflects a summer filled with expectations, challenges, encounters, and ultimately, an outcome that was different from wat was imagined. a reminder that even when things don't unfold as planned. sometimes....
Meaningful can emerge from that experiance.

Paraflage* ''chasing dragons''
This circular painting is a playful journey into a mythology, fantasy, and imagination. the circle of dragon-like creatures represents a continuous dance, a movement betueen different forms, energies, and characters.
The work was inspired bu psycadelic vision of dragons, combined with elements from thr dreamlike visual design language of Japanese animation, including the magical atmosphere of studio ghibli. [spirited away]
Each creature can be seen as something different: a guardian, a compagnion,or perhaps a reflection of something within ourselves. Ultimately, the dragon becomes your own, apersonal creature of imagination, there to protect you from the madness of the world.
